Current File Size Limit
Spellbook has a file size limit of 4 MB per document. This restriction applies to all document uploads and is designed to ensure optimal performance and compatibility within the platform.
Maximum document length: 400,000 input tokens (roughly 150,000–200,000 words, depending on formatting)
File size limit: 4MB per file
For reference files:
Up to 20 files at a time (100 total per session)
~350,000 token limit per file (~150,000–200,000 words)
Supported file types: Word (.doc/.docx), OCR PDFs, and .txt files
Files are automatically deleted after 3 days
If you’re working with larger documents, splitting them into smaller sections can help ensure everything runs smoothly.
