Word and Google Docs Add-In File Size Limits
Spellbook's Word and Google Docs Add-Ins have a file size limit of 4 MB per document. This restriction applies to all document uploads and is designed to ensure optimal performance and compatibility within the platform.
Ask feature file limits (within Add-in):
Up to 20 files at a time (100 total per session)
Supported file types: Word (.doc/.docx), OCR PDFs, and .txt files
Files are automatically deleted after 3 days
Associate File Limits
Associate can ingest Word (.doc/.docx), PDF, and Excel (.xlsx) files, though it can only directly edit .docx files.
File size limit: 20 MB per file
For best results, avoid files with heavy photos, tables, or other complex formatting, as these can affect how accurately Associate reads the document
