Comprehensive Review reviews your contracts in one pass, flagging risks, errors, and Playbook gaps with revisions and comments you can apply directly to your document. Review the entire document or a specific section, and add deal context or instructions to focus and sharpen its suggestions.
Comprehensive Review
1. Click the "Review" tab
2. From the drop-down, select "Comprehensive Review."
3. Customize the party (optional) and jurisdiction.
4. If you'd like to simultaneously run a Playbook within the review, select the Playbook here.
5. In the textbox below, add in additional instructions or context to focus the review.
6. You can access previous review instructions or prompts by clicking on the bookmark icon in the corner.
The "Yours" tab contains your previously saved prompts. The "Spellbook" tab contains a pre-loaded library of prompts by Spellbook. You can add new prompts by clicking on the '+' icon.
To use a prompt, click into it and click on "Use Prompt."
7. The enhance feature helps improve your prompt. Use it to make your prompt clearer, more precise, and better drafted, while preserving your intent.
8. The dictate button will allow you to perform speech-to-text.
9. Customize the review depth by selecting between a light, standard, or heavy markup. Review depth controls how deeply Spellbook analyzes your contract during the review.
10. When ready, click on "Start" to begin the review
11. When the review has finished, all revisions/comments will be listed down below.
12. Click on the settings icon to adjust revise settings.
Revisions: Toggle to show all revisions
Comments: Toggle to show all comments
Audience: Adjust the audience of comments
Expand all issues: Expands all revision suggestions
Tracked Changes: Toggle on to apply revisions as redlines

View and Accept Playbook Revisions
1. Within the Playbook view, a list of all passed, failed, and fallback rules will be listed.
2. In the failed rules, suggested revisions will be shown within.
3. The following options are available:
Show: To view where in the document the revision will be applied.
Dismiss: To reject the revision.
Apply: To accept and apply the revision to your document at the recommended location.
4. Near the top of the revision, you will also see a couple of options:
Copy to Clipboard: Copy the revision to your clipboard to paste at a different location
Insert at Cursor: Insert revision at where your cursor is in your document
Regenerate a Revision:
Regeneration: Suggest an alternate revision when the original isn’t quite what you want.
Ask for Changes: Ask Spellbook to make specific changes to the revision.
Edit: Manually edit the revision
View and Accept Comprehensive Review Revisions
1. Click on the "Issue Spotting" card to view revisions specific to "Comprehensive Review."
2. Click the pencil icon if you'd like to make any manual changes to the revision.
3. The following options are available:
Show: To view where in the document the revision will be applied.
Dismiss: To reject the revision.
Apply: To accept and apply the revision to your document at the recommended location.
