Do I need to create a new password to sign in?
Do I need to create a new password to sign in?
If your organization signs in via Google or Microsoft SSO, you'll continue using that method - you'll just be prompted to confirm your account the first time after the sign-in update rolls out.
If you don't use SSO, you'll set up an email and password.
Why do I need to merge my Spellbook accounts?
Why do I need to merge my Spellbook accounts?
If you originally signed up under a different email than the one you now use to sign in, your existing Playbooks and saved Prompts may be tied to that old email. Merging accounts (via the diamond icon → Merge Accounts in the Word Add-In) reconnects them. This became a requirement as part of the broader sign-in update - most users won't need to do this unless they've used more than one email with Spellbook.

What happens to my documents if I cancel or my trial expires?
What happens to my documents if I cancel or my trial expires?
Your documents live in your own systems (Word, your DMS, cloud storage) -Spellbook doesn't store your files, so cancelling doesn't put your documents at risk. That said, during a trial specifically, your projects and saved work inside Associate become inaccessible once the trial ends unless you upgrade - so download anything you need before it expires.
