Why We Updated Spellbook’s UI
We’ve refreshed Spellbook’s interface to make it faster and easier for you and your team to access the tools you use most — with fewer clicks and a more intuitive layout.
This update is all about efficiency, clarity, and smoother workflows, so you can spend less time navigating and more time getting work done.

What’s New
Streamlined Review Experience
All of your Review tools are now consolidated under the Review tab for easy, one-click access. Quickly review contracts, generate suggestions, and run playbooks — all in one place.
Simplified Drafting
The Drafting feature has been redesigned for speed and simplicity.
You can now:
Instantly draft new clauses or sections
Repurpose existing language directly from your Clause Library
—all with a single click.
Playbooks, Front and Center
Playbooks now live right on the home screen, giving you immediate access as soon as you open Spellbook. Launch your playbooks faster, review results, and keep your workflows moving without extra navigation.

Get to Know the New UI
1. The biggest change to the Spellbook's UI is that we've consolidated our Review features under the Review tab for easy access and simplicity.
2. You can down select which type of Review you want to run from the drop down menu.
Use the General Review for a broad analysis of the document
Negotiate Review for analyzing the document based on what's best for the client you represent
Custom Review for any surgical or targeted changes/analysis you need of the document.
3. Select the party you represent for the review from the drop down menu
4. Remember to add any deal context (for example, what your client prioritizes or values most) to the review to give Spellbook additional context in its analysis and improve the review output
5. Playbooks have now moved to the top of the app for quick access.
6. Another change is the Draft feature has been consolidated for more streamlined use, you can now quickly draft new language from your Clause library or from Spellbook's AI generated language in a simple click.
7. To determine where you'd like the language drafted from, make sure to select the source at the bottom of the draft feature.
8. Our additional features including Compare Documents, Summarize Redlines, Draft a Document from Scratch and Benchmark have also moved. You can access them via the arrow on the side.
9. All the features are available for quick access.
