How It Works
You can now upload multiple reference documents in Ask, while you draft or review in the Word Add-In.
Spellbook reads those files alongside your working document, answers questions with citations, and can export results into an Excel sheet. This feature is designed for tasks like policy compliance checks, redline responses across many versions, multi-amendment timelines, and large-scale diligence.
How to Upload and Use Reference Documents
1. In Ask, click on the paperclip icon to attach files.
2. Upload your reference documents. You can upload multiple documents.
3. In the textbox, enter your prompt to ask questions or give instructions.
There are two reference modes that you can choose from:
1. Document Queries: Send questions to one or more documents, aggregating the answers and returning with an excel file, as well as passing that information to the main chat
2. Read Document(s): Selectively read specific reference documents as needed, pulling the full text to allow for direct and precise comparisons.
4. Click "Start"
5. Spellbook will review your prompt and provide an answer. There will be citations that you can hover over to see the exact quoted paragraph or bullet from your reference document.
6. To download the results into an Excel sheet, click "Read 5 attached files" near the top of the response
7. Click "Download Results Matrix"
