Finding and Running an Associate Workflow

What is an Associate Workflow?

A workflow is a saved template of prompts, files, and steps for a task you run often in Associate. Instead of re-uploading files and re-typing instructions each time, you can save that setup as a Workflow, and reuse it.

Want to build your own? See Create and Configure an Associate Workflow.

Finding a Workflow

There are two places to find workflows in Associate:

  • Homepage: Some Recommended workflows appear directly on the Associate homepage.

  • Workflows tab: Click "Workflows" on the left-hand navigation to see all workflows available to you, including any you've created or that have been shared with you.

Workflows are arranged as tiles - you can use the Sort and Filter button (top-right) to filter the view between your own, shared or Spellbook Workflows. Alternatively, you can use the Search to search all Workflows.

Running a Workflow

  1. Click on the workflow card itself to immediately run the Workflow in a New Project.

  2. Click "View workflow" to see its configuration.

  3. Some workflows, like Summarize Redlines, come pre-populated with instructions and will start immediately. Others will prompt you to upload files or answer a question first.

  4. If the workflow has multiple steps, each step runs in order — once one instruction completes, the next begins automatically.

  5. When viewing a Workflow, you can scroll to the bottom and use the Start a New Project button, to run the Workflow as is.

Once the workflow finishes, you can continue the conversation in the project just as you would with any other Associate project.
