Starting a New Workflow
Click Workflows in the left sidebar, then select New Workflow.
Add a workflow title and an optional description.
Upload any template files you'd like to include with this workflow.
Add any legal sources you'd like Associate to reference while running the workflow.
Adding Steps
Within a workflow, click Add step to add step types such as:
Prompt: Instructs Associate to take action on the project. Write your instructions in the textbox. You can use placeholder files in prompts when the workflow should require the user to select a file before sending.
File Upload: Prompts the user to upload or add a file to the project. Add clear instructions for the file you want the user to provide and any context Associate should use with that file.
Question: Presents a multiple-choice question for the user to answer before the next step runs. Question steps collect structured input.
Choose between Single select, Multi select, or Free Text.Add instructions on what happens next, or extra context
Workflows can include multiple steps that run in sequence — once one step completes, the next begins automatically. You can add, edit, delete, or reorder individual steps while configuring the workflow.
Finishing Up
Before saving, click the settings icon at the top of the workflow to manage access and sharing — see Manage Your Workflows for the full picture on sharing and permissions.
When you're happy with your workflow, click Create Workflow to save it.
