How to Use Negotiate

Why Use Negotiate

Negotiate provides suggestions that is most advantageous to the party that you are representing. Using Negotiate can be helpful in tailoring your document to your representing party.


How to Use Negotiate

1. Click the "Review" tab

2. Click "Negotiate"

3. Customize Markup setting (optional). This will apply to all changes you make via Spellbook once the review has been complete.

4. Select the party you are representing

5. Add deal context (optional)

6. Click "Start" to start the review

7. Click "Show" to jump to the section in the document where the change will be applied

8. Click the pencil icon in the "Revision" box, to edit the suggested language (optional)

9. Clicking "comment" will show you what comments Spellbook will add (if the "add comments" has been toggled in your settings - refer to Step 3)

10. Click "Apply" if you're happy with the suggested change and it will redline the document for you

11. Click "Dismiss" if you don't want to apply the suggested change
