Keep in mind that Library documents are used to pull relevant clauses and context into your projects, they don't give you access to the full document itself within a project.
1. From the main Associate landing page, click Library.
2. This takes you to your document library, where you'll see a list of existing folders. You can click on an existing folder to view and add files, or you can also create a new folder by clicking the new folder icon, and then Upload files.
3. If you're creating a new folder, you can name your folder.
4. Then select the access level (Personal or Organizational).
5. And add files by clicking the "Add files" button.
6. Select the files you want to upload from your device, and then click Open.
Tip: File Format Compatibility in Associate:
Associate works with a range of file types, but only Word documents (.docx) can be edited directly.
Associate can reference (view, compare, or ask questions about): .doc, PDF, .txt, and .xlsx files.
PDFs must be OCR'd (have a searchable text layer) for Associate to read them. Scanned PDFs without OCR will upload, but Associate won't be able to reference their content.
7. Once you've selected the documents, they will be imported into the chosen folder.
8. If you're adding files to a folder you already have, click the + icon at the top of the folder menu.
9. If you want to delete a document from a folder, click on the three dots next to the document name, and then click Delete.
