Why Use Reviews?

  • To save time reviewing and marking up your documents

  • Have mark-ups automatically added to your document for easy review

  • Customize how you’d like your document reviewed

First, Navigate to the "Assistant" Tab at the top of Spellbook. Click the "Review" Spell to get started.

2. Click "General" to customize the review.

Choose between reviewing the whole document, or a certain selection.

The first dropdown filters between comments, redlines, or both for changes suggested by the review.

The second dropdown changes which party is being represented from the review perspective, or to add an entirely different party.

The "Deal Context", although optional, outlines unknown context for deeper evaluation of the document.

7. Click "Start Review" for Spellbook to begin suggesting constructive changes!

8. As suggestions are created, click the blue arrow to navigate to their corresponding location within the document.

9. Click "Apply Changes" to comment AND redline the document with the suggestion. The explanation you see above the redline suggestion is what the comment will say.

10. Clicking "Dismiss" ignores the suggestion.

11. Clicking the back arrow in the top left will take you back to the home page.

12. The General Review, or any Spellbook action, will continue to run in the background and be accessible from the main Assistant tab even after completion!
