What’s New in Spellbook
We’ve rolled out several updates to make your workflows more connected, customizable, and efficient. Here’s what’s new:
🧩 Spellbook is available in Google Docs
Spellbook now works inside Google Docs. One-click reviews, Playbooks, and Ask all run right inside your document, with redlines applied directly on the page. Review, redline, and revise contracts without switching tools.

🔗 iManage Integration
You can now connect Spellbook directly to iManage and use your firm’s documents as context in Ask and Associate. This allows you to review, compare, and draft using real deal documents—while still respecting your firm’s permissions and ethical walls.
✍️ Consolidated Reviews
We've made Reviews even easier to navigate with Consolidated Reviews. Instead of reviewing one document at a time, you can now see review results from multiple documents in a single, organized view—making it faster to identify issues, compare findings, and move through large document sets.
🔐 Access Controls
Improved access controls give your team more flexibility in managing who can view and share Playbooks, Libraries, and other resources. Sharing is now more structured across teams and organizations, helping you maintain consistency and control.
What's New in Associate
🎯 Associate Personalization (Tone & Style)
You can now customize how Associate communicates with you. Set your preferred response style (Concise, Default, or Detailed), tone (Professional, Friendly, or Direct), and add custom instructions like “respond in French” or “avoid em dashes.” These preferences apply across all conversations and document edits—set it once and Associate will follow it automatically.
📑 Associate Tabular Reports
Need to extract the same information from multiple documents? Tabular Reports let you ask a set of questions once and generate a structured table of answers across every document in your project. You can save report templates for future use and export results, making due diligence, data extraction, and portfolio reviews faster and more consistent.
