Please follow the steps below to install Spellbook in Google Docs.
Spellbook’s Google Docs Add-in lets you access Spellbook from the Google Docs side panel. You can use it to ask questions, review contracts, and work with Playbooks without leaving your document.
How to Install
You can install the add-in via the Google Marketplace.
(You'll be prompted to sign into your account and allow access to Spellbook when clicking Install).
Navigate to Google Marketplace > Spellbook
Select 'Install'.
You'll receive a pop-up when this is complete. Select 'Done' to continue.
Once installed, navigate to the Extensions tab in Google Docs, and should see Spellbook listed. Select 'Open Spellbook' to open the Spellbook panel.
Once opened, you'll be prompted to sign in. You can sign in using your Spellbook email.
If you’re running the Google Docs add-in without the Chrome extension, you’ll see a warning above that flags that tracked changes are unavailable. The Chrome extension enables the insertion of redlines as suggestions.
Installing the Spellbook Chrome Extension
Spellbook in Google Docs works best with the Spellbook Chrome extension. Once installed, launching Spellbook will result in the “Tracked changes unavailable” banner’s removal, indicating that the extension can now insert redlines as suggested text.
You can install the Chrome extension in the Chrome Web Store. Please note that this is only available in Chrome web browsers.
Open Spellbook in the Chrome Web Store, then Select 'Add to Chrome'.
You'll be prompted with a pop-up detailing Spellbook access, to continue select 'Add extension'.
Once installed, navigate to the Extensions menu in Chrome, and see Spellbook listed.
For additional visibility, click on Manage Extensions
