πŸͺŸ How to Take a Screenshot on Windows

πŸ–₯️ Full Screenshot (Entire Screen)

Method 1: Using the Print Screen (PrtScn) Key

  1. Press PrtScn: Captures the full screen and copies it to the clipboard.

  2. Press Ctrl + V to paste into the live chat or into an email to send to success@spellbook.legal

Method 2: Windows + PrtScn

  1. Press Windows + PrtScn: This will take a full-screen screenshot and automatically saves it to Pictures > Screenshots

Method 3: Ctrl + Alt + PrtScn

  1. Press Ctrl + Alt + PrtScn: Captures only the active window (the window your mouse is on) to the clipboard

  2. Press Ctrl + V to paste into the live chat or into an email to send to success@spellbook.legal

πŸ”§ Using the Snipping Tool (Windows 10 & 11)

The Snipping Tool (or Snip & Sketch in Windows 10) allows you to capture only a portion of your screen.

  1. Press Windows + Shift + S

  2. Drag your mouse over the portion of the screen you'd like to capture

  3. This will automatically save to Pictures > Screenshots

  4. OR you can press Ctrl + V to paste into the live chat or into an email to send to success@spellbook.legal

  1. Press Command + Shift + 3

  2. This will be saved to your Desktop

πŸͺŸ Capture Part of the Screen

  1. Press Command + Shift + 4

  2. Drag your mouse over the portion of the screen you'd like to capture

  3. This will be saved to your Desktop
