How to Use Search

1. Click into the "Ask" tab.

2. Toggle the "Search" feature on, if it isn't already.

3. Write out the query you'd like to ask, and hit enter.

4. The first thing you will see is a Thinking Block, which summarizes you ask. This is Spellbook processing your query, which you can follow along if you'd like to see the AI’s thought process.

5. Spellbook also provides Library Clause Search Details, showing you exactly which documents it searches to generate the final answer to your query.

Note: This is not the final result.

6. After providing all explanations, Spellbook will generate an answer to your query. If it cannot find an answer based on your Library, it will generate an answer using general knowledge.

7. You can toggle on and off the "Search" function, depending on your needs, as you continue chatting in "Ask"
