What is Spellbook's Compare Documents?
Spellbook's new Compare Documents feature is intended to make it easy for you to compare a document you're reviewing with another document.
β
It can help you:
Identify any untracked changes on documents coming back from a counterparty
With version control - see what's changed in your current document compared to previous versions
How to Compare Two Documents:
1. Click "Review"
2. Click "Compare Documents"
3. Choose a reference document. Note that Spellbook's Word Add-In will only compare the document you have open and a single reference document.
β
For multi-document comparison, please use Spellbook's Associate feature.
4. Click "Compare Documents"
5. Spellbook will start to populate a list of the differences between the two documents and mark the changes as Important or Notable.
6. You can see the references in the document for the changes by clicking on "Show References"
7. You can easily jump to the section of the document it applies to by clicking the Target icon
8. You can review where in the reference document this difference is by clicking on the "Reference" tab
9. If you're not interested in the change that has been flagged, simply click Dismiss to remove it from your view
